I think an amazing thing you can do to enhance your intimacy is to spruce up a little before you get close to your beloved. Take a shower, lotion your skin, show them that you want to be fresh, clean and looking your best for this wonderful person in your life. Don't use your expensive cologne/perfume for going to work, use it for getting close to the one you love. After cleaning up you will feel like getting closer to your partner and being a more exploring lover.
