Hello and welcome to the Couples' spot.

This is our little piece of the web where couples can come to get information on keeping their relationship strong and vibrant. At The Couples Spot we will focus on a variety of topics that might improve your relationship. The topics will range from things to do for the average couple to ways to spice up your sex life. Each post will focus on a specific topic and will also allow you to comment on the topic. We encourage email with questions, suggestions, or just even a word of encourgement for us or our viewers. 

Tell us your story. We would love to hear from couples that have been together a long period of time to see what their secrets are. We understand each and every couple is different and that what might work for one might be totally ridiculous to another, so if you read something that doesn't thrill you just pass it by and be ready for the next post.

We just thought we would look back and see what our thoughts were when we started this blog and the amazing thing is we are still right there with our mission.

It is often said that the music we love to listen to is actually the soundtrack to our life.  Which makes a lot of sense.  How does music effect you?  Take me for example if I am going some where that will require me to have a lot of energy, I listen to some music on the way that will pump me up.  However if I want to relax I will chose a different style of music that goes along with the mood I am creating.  Isn't that what the movie studios do also in their movies.   So maybe we should keep track of the music we are listening to and when we are listening to it, just in case they want to make a movie out of our lives.

I know what you are thinking Halloween hasn't even happened yet and we are talking about Christmas?  Well think about it on Oct 31st the stores will begin setting up their Holiday displays.  Why not be ahead of the curve and get your shopping done early this year.  Think about how much more fun you can have during the holiday season if you don't have to spend most of it shopping.  You may think it is silly but one of the best Holidays I ever had was when I had all my shopping done before the 1st of December.   I really had more time to enjoy the parties and snuggling under the mistletoe.

Please Encourage The Imagination Of Your Children

Amazing things happen when you let the mind of a child create.  Here is our son and his creation, Cake TV.  He wanted to make a cake and then I asked him if he wanted me to film him.  The rest of this creation is all him.  I was amazed as my seven year old son became the host of Cake TV.  It is amazing when you let imagination run wild in children.  It is important that we encourage this imagination as it is where the new ideas will come from.
