Today is Cinco De Mayo which is Mexican Independence Day. Much like our July 4th in the United States this holiday hold much importance to the people that have Mexican roots. Since, Mexico is one of our closest neighbors why should we not celebrate with them. Go all out today and celebrate. Whip up some wonderful Mexican dishes, play some mariachi music, and have fun dancing together. Together you can make this Cinco De Mayo and every one going forward a fun and festive day even if you don't have any ties to Mexico.
