Planning your Romantic Getaway.

I love to plan little romantic getaways for my husband and I. He works a high stress job outside of the home and I work a high stress job in the home. Therefore, I feel it is necessary for our sanity that we get away for a couple of days and enjoy being married to each other.
For those of you who are among the "romance challenged", I thought it would be nice to share my five easy steps for a romantic getaway to take some of the hassle out of planning your own adventure with that significant other.
1. Budget and plan the destination. Pick a place that has not only a romantic atmosphere but also has a lot to offer in both scenery as well as adventure. It should also offer a price tag that is in your budget range. While most people will tell you that you can't put a price tag on love, there are limits to taking a lovely trip with that special person. You should plan for a special event along your trip, for example: a picnic at a specified spot along the way, a horseback riding trip, or a romantic sunset interlude on the beach.
2. Keep it a secret from that special person so they will be surprised, and charmed by the fact that you went to the trouble of planning the whole trip. Pack the standard things you will need on your trip for yourself and your loved one. Though you should keep in mind the climate of your destination and the activities you will be engaging in while there. Make sure your schedules are cleared for the trip without letting on that you have planned the whole thing. Whatever you do don't use an excuse that can backfire on you!
3. Have everything ready and confirmed. Pack the car the night before your trip if you're going to drive, and or have the bags waiting if you're going to fly. Enlist the help of a friend if you are going to the airport. Arrange for them to not only drop you off but pick you up when you return to avoid those parking fees and rental situations.
4. Take the bare minimum in the way of technology; I advise taking a cell phone and an MP3 player only. The cell phone is for emergency use only! No checking your social networking accounts. The MP3 player is for music to set the mood.
5. Make this trip about your loved one; show them how you feel about them. Above all else have fun and enjoy spending time with the one you love.
With these 5 easy tips you should be able to plan a romantic yet affordable trip to spend time with your significant other. I hope you enjoy and have fun on your romantic getaway.

Not in the mood? put a little trust in your partner it could be magic.

Have you ever had one of those days where it seems your partner is really excited about making love and you just don't seem to be in the mood?  This can be a tricky situation for the both of you.  I personally think this is an area that trust comes to the fore front.  You have to express you mood to your partner and then you have to trust them to either one say okay or to trust in the fact that they will take the time to get you in the mood.  Slowly helping you rise to the occasion and building your libido slowly.  Long extended foreplay and passionate kisses can sometimes change the mood.   This is where you have to TRUST your partner, give them the chance to turn you on!  You know you love them, that is not the question and they know you love them.  Each level of intimacy is a magical moment in time and every one of those magical moments you miss, is one you cannot get back.  Next time this happens put a little trust in the true passion you have for your partner.  Then enjoy the magic.

Don't be afraid to show your lust for your partner.

Lust is a must in a relationship.
When we first started our relationship we didn't worry about how we felt about our partner.  Part of that feeling was lust in the beginning.  You both the loved the raw passion and the no hold bar method of what happened when you saw each other.  Now however, as your relationship has become a more stable and supportive function in your life we sometimes forget that unbridled passion that we enjoyed at the beginning of the relationship.  When is the last time you took off your partners clothes?  When is the last time the two of you almost fell down because you couldn't stop kissing?  When is the last time that you came through the door and drug each other to the bedroom?  Why in the hell are you not doing that now?  I would make your relationship a more passionate place.  You can bring that lust back into your relationship without hurting you relationship.  You know each other so much better now but does that mean you can't rip each others clothes off?  I think it means you have more of a reason to rip those clothes off.  Tonight show your partner that you still lust after them, even though you love them!

Beauty of the Relationship.

Check out Cupid Blogger.
If we lived within a perfect society, many people would enjoy all the wonderful benefits of being in a healthy relationship with minimal to no problems at all. But because we don't live within a perfect society, it's not only an extremely rare but very difficult thing to find steady, and healthy relationship, now of days!
A healthy relationship can create one of the most beautiful and peaceful companionship that anyone searching for true love could ever find in this world. This warm and loving atmosphere is ideal not only for a family setting, but it also brings about good character and strength between couples.
But instead, what we find is that too many relationships turn out to be destructive and to unloving, as many people have witnessed families being torn apart, couples constantly arguing and fighting, and relationships built upon lust instead of good core values.
The beauty and essence of a healthy relationship is absolutely dependent on the comfort and support between couples. You'll need to be able to create a warm and loving atmosphere with your partner to ensure that you both will enjoy each others company.
Remember that a beautiful and healthy relationship is one in which there is a special connection between partners, and that they're both able to trust each other completely.
Relationships are a learning process which helps you identify and explore not only your inner self, but also that of your partner whom you care for. To really know your partner is to understand their emotional needs, wants and expectations from your relationship.
If you can laugh together, console each other when things aren't going right, and provide support so that it becomes easy to achieve your goals, then you're in a relationship that makes you feel connected and is truly beautiful.

Kiss a little longer.

Make a kiss more than a goodbye make it a yearning for your return.
Here is a simple quick to the point way to improve your everyday life together.  Instead of the normal peck goodbye as you leave for work.  Take the time to kiss passionately for thirty seconds to a minute.  Get your juices flowing and some anticipation rising in getting home to get another passionate kiss.  I have never understood why couples stop kissing with passion as they get deeper into their relationship.  It should be the other way around.

Enjoy some Whine.

Click here to go to def-i-ni-tions shirt shop.
No I didn't misspell the word whine.  I think an important part of being in a relationship is being able to vent to your partner.  You both need to set aside time to air out the things that are bothering you in life.  Be it work, family, or anything else that can and will pop up to annoy you.  You might even make it a fun time for the two of you.  Get a bottle of wine and then whine to each other go back and forth telling each other what annoys the hell out of you in this life.  It might be having to be in rush hour traffic, or the rude check out person at the store that bugs you.  See who can find the smallest and most insignificant thing that bugs you.  You might not like the color the neighbors painted their house or the fact your uncle has a bad hair piece.  You might just find yourself laughing and having a good time looking at the things in life that annoy you.  In this practice stay away from bashing on each other focus on outside forces that annoy and share them and embrace them in this whine exercise.

Put all your energy today into your partner.

Showing your love how special they are can be a lot of fun.
How many times to you take a whole day to honor your partner.  Maybe their birthday or your anniversary for most people.  Why not take today and make it all about your partner.  Show them how much you still care and are in love with them.   It can be so easy to forget to show them how much you truly adore them.  So take today and plan out a special evening for them.  Maybe you could make their favorite meal, or take them out for dinner.   Go see that movie that they want to see, share popcorn, and hold their hand.   Then take them home and pour on the romance.  Set some mood lighting and make love to them in a manner that they will never forget.  This is a great way to keep your love life rolling.  I suggest doing this at least once a month, you can never show your partner you care enough.  This type of action is how couples stay in love.

Stop being selfish.

Let your relationship heal you!
One of the greatest thing about being in a relationship is being able to focus your love on your partner.  Being able to share with them everything.  However, sometimes we forget and become wrapped up in ourself or any troubles that we have going on.  We forget that this wonderful person we are in a relationship needs to have your attention, or is there to help us when we need them.  We keep things inside instead of expressing them to the one person that will truly listen and try to help.  Do you become absorbed into your problems, so much so that you ignore your relationship?  If so not only are you doing your partner a great injustice but you are also doing it to yourself.   Your relationship is a place for healing and comfort and it you bring outside stresses into it that effect your relationship negatively you are being selfish not only to yourself but to your partner also.  Your relationship is a safe zone keep it that way.  Express yourself and then push it aside and enjoy the love in your life.

Weekends are a great time to catch up on your intimacy.

This seems to sum up the work week.
If you work a normal Monday thru Friday schedule, that leaves you weekends to catch up on your relationship.  The week is full chaos and rushing around, which leaves your weekend to reconnect.  This is very important in your relationship, the reconnecting part that is.  You need time to focus on each other and build on your relationship.  You also need to catch up on conversations, touch, intimacy and love making.  These are all things you need to try to squeeze into your relationship and they are so wonderful.  This fact is why the weekends seem to fly by.  You are having so much fun getting back into your relationship that soon it is Monday again.  However now you can look forward to the next weekend with your love.

This is a wonderful movie for couples to watch together.  As most couples are bringing together two different lifestyles to form their very own family.  The movie shows two extremely different families that are thrust together as their children have decided to get married.  It is a wonderful romp between the strict and straight laced to the spiritual and open families.  From handshakes to hugs this movie will have you looking at the combination of your own parents and how they influenced your life.   There are some valuable lessons in the movie to understand as you move in your relationship.
