The Economy Sucks, time to make our own entertainment.

With the shape the economy is in today, couples are having to stretch every dollar they can. Their entertainment dollar is one that is effected greatly as entertainment is not as important as paying the mortgage, or eating. Couples are having to be creative in this time of crisis. Board Games are becoming popular again as well as renting movies to view at home. The one positive thing about this is, it gives couples a little more time to themselves. Time to get reacquainted with each other, and to rely on each other. You have to choose things together and not go your separate ways. There are several ways you can find entertainment that cost next to nothing if you put your mind to it. Create a entertainment co-op and enlist the help of other couples you know. Rent a movie and invite friends over to enjoy it together, have dinner parties, enjoy the outdoors more, but most important enjoy each other. Intimacy is another area you can use as entertainment this is a great time to find out each others likes and dislikes. Even thought the economy sucks you don't have to stop enjoying yourself, just find other less expensive ways to do it.

Are you good to lean on during troubled times?

Part of being in a relationship is being there for you partner when they need you. Do you offer support and encouragement for them when things are bothering them? If not you need to step back and take a look at this today. Don't ignore even a little problem you partner has if nothing else listening will help. Avoid saying things like that is silly or anything that would belittle their concerns. If you do feel like they are wrong in their thinking try to get them to look at it in a different angle. Put a twist on it so that they can see the other side of the situation. With some good communication skills you will be the rock in your relationship. This will also open up the lines of other communication that is so important in a relationship. If you partner feels they can't be comfortable telling you their concerns then you are shutting down an important part of your relationship. Open you ears and listen totally before you make any suggestion or solutions, sometimes the answer will present itself once they speak their mind.

Men be healthy and smile a lot.

I just read and interesting stat from The Journal of the American Medical Association that states to lower the risk of prostate cancer men should ejaculate 21 times or more a month. Wow, that is an amazing number of times in most months you would have to ejaculate every 1.3 days. I am sure that most of you guys out there will not approach your partner and suggest that you have sex 21 times a month. It would be great if that would work but it sounds like their might be some solo work involved in this health improvement. Gentlemen you might think this is over the top but if you have known anyone that has had prostrate troubles you might be a little wiser. For starters it feels good to ejaculate and it can be fun alone or with a partner so what is the problem. After all now it is a matter of health.

Prostate health is important and if you have issues with the traditional means of stimulating the prostate gland, there is a procedure called milking the prostate that requires rear entry but achieves the same results.

Make time for each other every day.

If you are not dedicating time to your relationship each and everyday then you are running the risk of your relationship stalling. I am not saying that you have to spend every waking minute together. However, there are areas of your relationship that need time to help it grow. You should spend some quality time together each and every day conversing. Speaking to each other about anything helps you keep the lines of communication open for when you really need to talk to each other about something important. I suggest spending about a half hour of your day should be set aside for the two of you to talk. At least once a week you need to set aside time to date each other. Be it a night out or just to get a movie and some popcorn and snuggle down on the couch. It is important to keep chasing each other if you will, dress up like you did when you were trying to impress each other and bring some fire back into your relationship. Lastly at least a couple of times a week you need to make time for intimacy. Passion is an important part of any relationship that survives and thrives. I have read many studies that say that the couples that are the most happy have a wonderful sex life. Get out of the dark ages and schedule your love making, this way you don't just leave it to chance plus when you know you are going to have a exciting round of love making your anticipation will make you a tiger in the bedroom. Relationship are like anything else in your life you have to give it the time that it need. Think about it how would your kids turn out if you didn't give them any time, what about your job, or the housework. I hope you are getting my meaning and will dedicate time to your relationship today.

Gratitude.

Sometimes we get caught up with the feeling of lack or what we don't have in our lives. We forget about all the wonderful things that we just expect to be there day in and day out. Instead of enjoying the things we have we continue to struggle for the things we don't have. We build stress and depression going after these thing. All the time the things that we need to make us happy are right in front of our face. If you haven't read or watched The Secret yet, when you do they take in large part about gratitude and how being thankful is a big part of getting what you want out of life. Give and take is a force in the universe that smiles on you when you understand it so start today and be thankful and appreciative for the good things around you. Then see how the rest of the things start to fall into place.

Great Date Idea : Retro Concert

Here is a great date idea for the couple that has been together for a while. Keep your eyes on the concert scene around your area and watch for bands that were popular when you started dating. Then when they come to town doing a retro concert don't waste time and pick up tickets as soon as they go on sale. This will be a great date and a great way to remember all the fun times you had during the start of your relationship. Heck even dress the part bringing out the old time clothes if they still fit and try to recreate the things you use to do in your youth. Make it as fun as you can and invite other friends if they are still around to join the party. This is one of those ways you can really relive the past without having to build a time machine.
