Theater Alone

On a recent weekend my son and I decided to go to the movies and to our surprise there was no one else in the theater besides us.  No one else ever came in during the entire length of the movie.

It was a strange and wonderful experience all at the same time.  So many thoughts ran through my head during this time.  Were we the only ones that thought this movies was worth a view?  Was something else going on that weekend where everyone else in the area was at?   Was this movie really bad?  Was it destined for us to see them movie alone?  and the list goes on and on.

No mater the reason it was a wonderful experience.  I felt like the actors were performing specifically for us, my son bounce from chair to chair and even watch some of the movie standing right in front of the screen.  We talked during the movie without keeping our voices lowered.  All this lead to great quality time for a father and son.

I did make sure to clean up our area before we left, after all the theater people would have known it was us if we had left a mess.  One thing I though about on our car ride home was you know sometimes it is okay to be alone.  For the times when my son was not sitting beside me  and I was sitting alone watching the movie I was at peace and it was a wonderful feeling.  Not that I want to be alone all the time but at times it feels pretty good.

Get Out of The Comfort Zone

Outside Your Comfort Zone is Where The Magick Happens

When you always do the same thing because it is safe and predictable you are not living your best life.  Now I am not saying you should jump off a bridge everyday or throw everything out and start over each day.  What I am saying is you need a little variety in your life and little spice in the mix and a little pep in your step.  You don't get that from doing the same things over and over again.  Step out to your comfort zone and live a little.

What Your Eyes Say

The Eyes Tell Such a Story

When you look into the eyes of someone you can almost tell their story.  Within the deepness of the eye you can feel the pain or the joy of a person.  You can tell if that person will resonate with you or not.  Besides the smile for me the eyes tell such a powerful story that can not be bidden.  So don't be afraid to look people in the eye it will tell more of a story than you might ever get from them personally.

Poor Marco Polo

Troubles of Famous People

I am sure who ever invented the pool game of Marco Polo never thought of the troubles it would cause for the famous explorer.  The poor man cannot even get close to a pool without almost loosing his him from his name being called over and over again.   Please think before naming a game in the future you could save someone from a lifetime of being driven insane by kids just saying that name over and over again.

Socks On or Off

Socks On or Off During Sex?

It seems like a very easy straight forward questions.  However there are many factors to consider.  For example what is the temperature outside?  If it is bitterly cold keeping the socks on might make sense.  Also there is some study that states if your feet are warmer you feel more sexy?  Many people consider being naked and leaving your socks on to look really odd.  Plus the type of socks make a difference are the ankle socks or tube socks, or are they considered sexy stockings.  Socks could make it slick and cause injury if you are trying to have sex standing up.   If your partner has ugly toes socks might make things a big more sexy and let us not forget socks might help avoid those dangerous toenails.   So you see the answer is not so clear cut as just a personal preference.   Please talk the sock question over with your partner before sex.

A Paint Ball Could Improve Your Relationship

Paint Ball for a Happy Relationship

In a relationship we all get annoyed with our partner from time to time.  It doesn't mean we don't love them it is just part of a normal relationship and the ups and downs that go with it.   Having a good stress relief system is important.  Paint Ball is one way I found that couples can really take out that little frustration they have for each other without being mean or hateful.  After all the main point of paint ball is to shoot each other and yes the paint capsules might sting a little but they don't do permanent harm to your partner.  Thus making it the perfect way to leave your frustrations with your partner on the field and not keep it fostering in your relationship.
