Sounds can bring you healing and levels of relaxation that you may never have considered before. It may be putting on some of your favorite music and dancing around the house or listening to it while you drive. But, today I am sharing a little different practice.
This is just a quick and easy exercise that you can do to gain a sense of calmness and serenity - it may last for a few minutes or this relaxed state may stay with you all day.
Using a singing bowl, as pictured above, tap the rim of it with the mallet. You may also run the mallet along the rim of the bowl as well. Allow this beautiful tone to penetrate you. Close your eyes and focus only on the sound. Continue to focus on the sound as you breathe in deeply and exhale slowly. Listen until you absolutely can no longer hear the sound. Repeat this if you wish.
This will only take a couple of minutes, but it can transform your entire day.
