Don't forget to set time aside for your love.

Do you have those days where you just collapse into bed? You have spent all day taking and running the kids around, working, doing laundry, etc, etc, etc. Yet the one thing you have forgotten is one of the most important things in your life. That is your relationship! You have spent all you energy doing the other things in life and now you have no time or energy for your relationship. This is when you have to dig deep and find the energy to give to your partner. They deserve it and you know it but it is hard when you are ready to just relax. I suggest that you start thinking about saving some energy through out the day to save for your partner. Think of yourself as having a battery and just sit down and store away some charge for your partner later. Your relationship will benefit greatly if you have time to converse under the stars or talk while laying in bed, or even have a little physical encounter that lets you both sleep with a smile on your face. Don't wait until it is convenient for put time into your relationship you need to do it every single day. Take 15 minutes or so and just sit and store some of your energy up and tell yourself, "That is for my relationship later"

Let the sunshine in!

One thing that can change a mood in mere minutes is letting the sun into your life. For us that live in climates were we go through months of cold and dreary days we can get a little stir crazy. There are times where we spend all day inside and never even see the sun. This is proven to depress some people a little bit. We here in the midwest call them the winter blues and they can happen more than in the winter. Recently we had a bout of several cloudy days in a row without sunshine and the mood around town was pretty depressing. However once the sunshine returned it was like magic people were out having a great time, smiling and laughing while they were out.

Relationships can be effected by these lack of sunshine, too. If possible, if you live in these long cold spell climates, I would suggest taking your vacation in the middle of it to go somewhere for some sun. The whole family can benefit from bringing a little sunshine back with you from this vacation. For you relationship it can be like recharging your batteries. Not only will it break up the winter blues but it will also make you feel better and get you out of that rut that you are in as the winter drags on. It will show you the light at the end of the tunnel and give you hope that spring is just around the corner. Plus it could jump start a cold libido, too.

Now at this time of year you can make sure to open up all curtains the would let sunshine into your house. Get outside as much as possible, plan activities that will get you away from the television and computer and breath life back into your relationships. If you have to work see if you can do it outside, get a laptop and find a comfy spot and type away for the day. The fresh air as well as the sunshine will do amazing things for you.

Recharge your relationship!

Daily events such as work, shores, school, children take a drastic effect on the relationship of couples. These events can suck your energy out of you without you even knowing. Soon you find yourself at home where you can finally relax and you just want to plop down and do nothing. Then you realize that you haven't even seen your partner yet, how are you going to find any energy to share with them. Well if that is how you feel then I am here to tell you that you are looking at it all wrong. Think about it how do you feel when you have a really good day with your partner? I am sure that you feel wonderful, if you are like me you feel on top of the world. Maybe just maybe you relationship can be a recharging thing in your life. It isn't that secret that being in love has great effect on your mental well being, and sex is wonderful for your health and mind. Hummmm lets think now maybe all these trials of the day could be combated by being in love????? If you start viewing your relationship as a way to reconnect to love, and knowing that love is a supercharger for life, then why would you put off your relationship with the person you love. I think if you put the personal commitment into this thinking you will find that you will have more energy for the next day. Sure this will not take away any of those daily tasks but you will sure be a little happier doing them knowing that your lover is at home waiting to recharge your batteries.
