Sexy Smells

One thing you don't want to overlook when trying to make your relationship great is your sense of smell. Various smells are appealing to different people. So you have to do a little trial and error. Some people are attracted to flowery smells such as geraniums, lavender or roses. Still others find food smells appealing things such as vanilla, pumpkin spice, and cinnamon. Just like you have to search for cologne and perfume that your partner enjoys you need to do the same for scents you might use in your bedroom or as lotions on yourself. A good method to try is to go the store and smell the candles. They come in a variety of smells and are strong enough for you to get a good feel just by sniffing them. Let me tell you a good smell can create a wonderful mood in the bedroom. This added scent can work wonders on getting your partner in the mood. For instance my partner has some vanilla lotion that drives me wild when she wears it as well as some peppermint lotion. Yes sometime smells can be overdone so don't over do it. A rule of thumb to use is that a little smell goes a long way. You each also have your own unique sent so don't underestimate that. Some people just love to smell each other and that can be a turn on it's self.

Change your scent to help excitement a little.

I love to breath in my partner. The freshness of her coming into my body is an amazing feeling. However it is nice from time to time when she puts on lotion or perfume to get a different scent from her. It can be an erotic experience, say for instance when she uses her vanilla lotion. This change of scent peaks my interest. My nose becomes aware that something is different and that while it is not her essence I am soaking in, it is a pleasurable one. Try out different scents and see how your partner reacts to them. This goes for the men as well as the women. Purchase several different types of body wash or lotions and keep track of which ones your partner likes the best. You might even find that you get certain reactions from certain scents. Real estate agents have long used the trick of filling a house with a scent to help make it more attractive for sale. Now you can use the same tactic to help tantalise your lover.

Research how scents affect your relationship

Scents are a powerful thing and you never know exactly how someone will act to a certain scent. I want to suggest you do a little research on the subject in your relationship. Get some different scented candles and have them burning with your partner comes home. Log down their mood and how they act throughout the night, then change the scent the next time. Get 7 different candles and try a different scent each day then repeat the cycle the next week. Do this for one month then look over your log book to see if you see any similarities. Maybe the smell of lavender puts your partner in a mellow mood where they just want to relax, or maybe the smell of cinnamon makes your partner a little frisky. To test your scent findings switch things up. If you partner comes home in a bad mood choose the scent that made them the most relaxed and see how they react to the scent. Do they calm down or does it have no effect. You might just find that the scents will help you set a mood for your time together. If you find a scent that makes your partner in just the mood you enjoy then you better take stock in that company and buy all the candles in that scent you can find.
