Reach out during your work day.

There is a ancient Huna technique of staying connected with your love during time apart. It envolves spining energy out of your fingers to touch the person you desire. Much like the way spiderman spins his web out you send energy out to connect with your partner. When you believe and get use to this practice you can physically feel their presence. Connecting with their breathing and the feeling you get when you are actually with them. Try this the next time you have to get up early to go to work while your partner remains in bed. You can be there by connecting your energy through these webs.

Want a fun and romantic way to improve your relationship?

How long has it been since you looked deep into your partners eyes? Most people probably can't remember how long it has been. Well tonight do me a favor and stare deep into your partners eyes. While you are doing thing breath in their breath as they exhale. Some of the tantric practices state that this exercise helps to bring two partners closer together. I personally believe that not only does this bring you closer together but it also it a great way for the two of you to start your day. So often we just rush out the door, give each other a little peck on the check and don't see each other until the end of the day. Wake up 5 minutes earlier and breath with each other, heck you don't even have to get out of bed if you don't want to (Unless the morning breath is to strong, LOL) but seriously set some time aside to practices this eye gazing and breathing. You can feel so much through looking deep into someones eyes and taking in their breath is a great way to become part of them.

Spend you alone time together.

Nothing upsets me more then to see a couple spending time in separate rooms of the house. Sure their are times when you have to be in different rooms. Times like when one of you is doing the laundry and the other is cleaning the living room is understandable. Why, however to people split apart when they are reading or even taking a nap. Being in the same room might take a little getting use to but think about how really little time the two of you are together. Why not read your book sitting next to your partner while they watch their football game, or take your nap next to them while they are reading. Snuggle up to each other, I personally believe that if you touch even a little you are better connected to each other. Wouldn't it be nice to wake up next to your partner after you take a little snooze during a lazy sunday afternoon. I also believe that if your partner touches you in just a loving way that you will be more relaxed and calm. Call me crazy but I believe that a relationship is doesn't or shouldn't get old the longer it goes. If you are having trouble enjoying the company of your partner maybe you need to look at yourself first to see where your trouble lies. Your in a relationship for gosh sakes enjoy it there are many people out their wishing for what you have so don't take it for granted. Snuggle up and find the best way for the two of you to fit together.

Sleeping Together (and I do mean sleeping)

You know what I find very sad? I know several older couples that sleep in separate beds. Some that even sleep in separate rooms. What happens in a relationship when you end up sleeping apart and or in separate rooms? What type of relationship is that? In my opinion, being close and touching while you sleep is a way to recharge your relationship. The security that your partner is close and the feeling you get when he/she touches you should be something you crave in a relationship. Cohabitation is not a option in a relationship. Why would anyone want that? I have heard many reasons: he moves too much, he snores, she keeps me awake, I want more room, and on and on.

Well, I think that with time a couple's sleeping and moving patterns become adjusted to each other. I think that your movements while asleep are routine and that sleeping together you get in sync with each other. Now, if you resist this then you might have trouble sleeping with your partner, but if you think of all the positives you might think of it a little differently. Think of the way he/she smells and the feel of his/her skin.  Think about how much you love to feel your partner's touch or that if you want to get a little frisky your partner is right there.

The warmer summer months make it a little tougher to sleep all snuggled up, but it is great in the winter.  Shared body heat can help you stay as warm as you want.  The next time your partner is asleep look over at him/her and think about how peaceful he/she looks.  Snuggle up and enjoy the blissfulness of slumber cuddled up to your beloved partner.
