Stockings are so darn sexy!!!!

Ladies if you want to send your partner through the roof with out having to put on some full blown costume outfit, may I suggest a nice pair of stockings. I don't know why but they just scream sexy to me. Judging by the groups on facebook I am not alone in this feeling either. Their is something about seeing beautiful legs adorned with wonderful witching stockings that send my blood pressure up from the when I first lay eyes on them. I love the black normal looking stockings and fishnets. My favorite has to be the ones that almost look like socks that come up to the thighs. They usually are in bright colors, I have seen them several times in the Victoria Secrets catalog in the pink section. Let me know your feelings on how you think of stockings I don't think I have a fetish with them but I do love to see them.

Stockings their not just for Christmas anymore!

Don't view everyone elses life through rose colored glasses.

Have you ever said or though that you wish your life could be like someone elses? You see that happy couple in the mall and wonder what they are doing to be so happy. The parents down the street that are always walking their child in the stroller. These images give us the impression that everything in their life is perfect. They are happy eveything goes well for them and they don't have near the troubles that we do. Well you need to take off the rose colored glasses right now. I am hear to tell you that every relationship has troubles, someones elses troubles might not seem important to you but believe me, in that they feel that their troubles are important. I am sure you have heard "That you can't judge a book by it's cover" Well the same thing goes for relationships. People have a tendency to put on a front to make everyone think they are happy. I have seen many a couple that seems to be content with each other suddenly get divorced and you hear things about them you never dreamed would have happened in their relationship. The big thing to remember is every relationship is going to have some rocky parts, there is not such thing as a perfect relationship. The thing that sets good solid relationship apart is that they understand and deal with the problems better then the others. They don't let them brew up to the point of exploding. You always need to look at the thing that is making you upset from the outside, is it really important to get angry over? A partner cheating on you is a thing to get upset over but not shutting the cabinet doors or replacing the toliet paper roll, seem a little on the pickey side when you stand back and look at it.

Step back when ever you get upset and really look at the thing making your crazy. Is it just a little thing that isn't that important but just bugs you, then you need to take a different approch. Try to reason things out to make the situation better. Don't get upset just talk it out let them know it bugs you, don't throw a fit because one fit most likely will start another. Relax and understand that you partner is not perfect and you wouldn't want them to be.

Create a great atmosphere

Sometimes when you are updating your house you over look some of the things that might come in handy later. Carpet is one of those things.

When you choose a carpet for your house you need to think about other things than cost.

I know most people try to get the cheaper carpet figuring they might have to replace it later. I want you to look at it from a different perspective. From the ground up, if you will.

How much time are you going to spend on the carpet? Do you and your partner like to lay on the floor and watch TV or talk? Do you have children that just like to roll around on the ground?

These type of questions might make you see why a super, soft, comfortable carpet might just be worth the money. I personally enjoy just laying on the carpet with my sweetheart or my children all snuggled up with me. It also makes a great place to stretch and work out. Sit-ups are a lot better on a great carpet.

Now, if you get new carpet, you know you are not going to wear your shoes on it and this way you will enjoy taking your socks off and feeling the soft feeling on your bare feet. Lastly, what if you and your partner want to get a little frisky on the carpet? Maybe you fall off the bed, think about the feeling of the soft, warm carpet on your bare skin compared to the cheap carpet that is just put in to last so long.

If you can't afford new carpet, you can pick up a nice soft rug to put in the middle of your living room or bedroom. Which ever place you plan on rolling around on the floor. *Wink Wink

Get Away - Stay Away ??

Next time the two of you get away try to find somewhere to off the beaten path. Find a small town within a short drive of your final destination. Stay away from the hustle and bustle of the bigger cities. Give yourselves time to reconnect and find entertainment in each other. Take walks, talk and get to know each other all over again. If you stay in a tourist trap, you are constantly thinking what you should be doing instead of enjoying the wonderful person you are with. Find a quiet little bed and breakfast and enjoy the big comfy beds or maybe a little cottage near the ocean. You can always make the trip into the city for dinner or other entertainment. You might be amazed at the things you can find to do in a small town. Find the local sites to see or maybe enjoy a festival the town is having. Maybe you would stumble across a town that has a minor league baseball team. Then you could spend the night with your arms around each other relaxed in a half filled stadium. I do believe that if you try this, you will take away more memories then if you stay in the heart of the city.

Sexual Good Luck

Some people believe that sex is a deterrent and that it keeps you from focusing on your goals. I remember hearing about one soccer coach that wouldn't let his players have sex during the World Cup. Needless to say they didn't win. My feelings on this subject are a little different. I believe that sex can be a distraction from your goals, if your not getting any. Let me put it this way, we are going to think about sex and want sex that is human nature (especially for us men). The longer we go without having satisfying sex the more our mind searches out sex (or thinks about it) this is why we can't focus on our goals. I feel that if your sex life is very satisfying and you don't have to wonder when and if you are ever going to get it, it frees your mind up to concentrate on the other things important in your life. Try it out make sure to have adequate sex for the next few months and see how much more you get done. You might be amazed. Once we remove the distractions (in this case the yearning for sex) the goal line seem clear and easy to reach. Plus the sex is a great feeling in it's self!!!! With this principal in place great sex will bring your so much good luck!!

Take time for passionate kisses

When you are in a relationship you take a lot of things for granted. You overlook the things that made you feel great in the early stages of your relationship. Kissing is one of these simple little things that seem to get the shaft as we get farther into our relationship. The passionate kiss seems to become a peck hello and goodbye. The only time a passionate kiss is thought about is during sexual relations. This is not a good practice to fall into. Now I am not saying that you have to make out every time you kiss each other. That might make your friends and children want to puke. I do suggest that at some point and time during the day you take time to get lost in a kiss. Maybe in the morning or at lunch, the time doesn't matter all I want you to do is get lost in a kiss like you use to at the beginning of your relationship. You might feel silly at first but believe me the feeling you get from doing this is well worth the effort. My heart swells with so much when we do this, it is one of my favorite exercises to bring the new relationship feeling back into my mind. This doesn't take anytime during your day maybe a minute at the most and it is well worth the time. Go out a buy some chap stick and mouthwash because you going to start passionate kisses today.

Sleeping Together (and I do mean sleeping)

You know what I find very sad? I know several older couples that sleep in separate beds. Some that even sleep in separate rooms. What happens in a relationship when you end up sleeping apart and or in separate rooms? What type of relationship is that? In my opinion, being close and touching while you sleep is a way to recharge your relationship. The security that your partner is close and the feeling you get when he/she touches you should be something you crave in a relationship. Cohabitation is not a option in a relationship. Why would anyone want that? I have heard many reasons: he moves too much, he snores, she keeps me awake, I want more room, and on and on.

Well, I think that with time a couple's sleeping and moving patterns become adjusted to each other. I think that your movements while asleep are routine and that sleeping together you get in sync with each other. Now, if you resist this then you might have trouble sleeping with your partner, but if you think of all the positives you might think of it a little differently. Think of the way he/she smells and the feel of his/her skin.  Think about how much you love to feel your partner's touch or that if you want to get a little frisky your partner is right there.

The warmer summer months make it a little tougher to sleep all snuggled up, but it is great in the winter.  Shared body heat can help you stay as warm as you want.  The next time your partner is asleep look over at him/her and think about how peaceful he/she looks.  Snuggle up and enjoy the blissfulness of slumber cuddled up to your beloved partner.

Visualize The Relationship You Want

To make your relationship better try this technique.  Visualize the way you want your relationship to be. Sounds simple, doesn't it. Well, besides visualizing the perfect relationship you need to look at what you can do to get your relationship to that level. You see, no matter how much you wish you could change your partner, you can't. He/she has to want to change, and if he/she balks at your attempts to change him/her then you become at odds with each other. And, that is never good in a relationship.

Make sure when you visualize that you make note of what you have to do to get to this point. It will put things into perspective for you and start your relationship heading in the direction you want. Change can only start with you!

Don't be so quick to react.

One thing that I feel is very important when dealing with troubles in a relationship is to react to quickly. When we first hear the sound of bad news we are usually quick react usually in a negative way. However take some time get a few deep breaths and think before you say anything. Money issues and job losses are part of life and if you jump all over your partner before you hear their story you might be jumping to conclusions. How do you think your partner would feel if you jumped them for losing their job only to find out later that they wouldn't give in to doing something illegal for their boss. Look at every situation from every angle before you jump in to offer you opinion. This will keep your relationship in tip top shape. Mistakes happen and they shouldn't come between two people that love each other.

What Are YOU Doing to Make Your Relationship Better?

We all want things to go our way. We want our partners to do what we need and we don't usually think it is out of the way to please us. However, when you think about it, what are you doing to make your relationship better?

Are you doing the things your partner wants?  Are you making changes to better your relationship?  Do you think that your partner is asking too much?

Well, you both might be feeling the same way, SELFISH. We can only control ourselves and if you want someone to change, you have to put the message out there and hope he/she listens. Then, you need to drop it. If you continually try to change him/her, your partner will feel unappreciated and unloved.  In fact, he/she will likely dig his/her heels in and resist any type of change even more.

So what can you do?  Change YOU first!  If you want change in your relationship, focus on yourself and let the rest fall as it will.

Results of Where you met your Partner

Here are the results of our viewers responses to Where you met your partner at.

29% Said they met their current partner at School.

23% Found their partner on the Internet.

17% Visited a Tavern to find their love.

11% Did a little moonlighting at work to find a mate.

5% Were set up by their family

5% Searched the personals to find the love of their life.

I find these numbers fascinating as most of our views found their High School Sweetheart to be their partners. While another large group found love in the media. I thought the findings were very well balanced out however, which shows me that love can be hiding anywhere.

Different Views

Have you ever noticed how people perceive things in different ways? Like one person finds sweaty people sexy while another things that when you sweat it is just gross. It makes you wonder why we can be so different. How can one person love to see women in stockings and another say they look like a street walker. This different view flow into our live at every angle. Art is a great example, some paintings appeal to me and some that I find not very good at all sale for hundreds of thousands of dollars. This makes me think am I missing something, is my perception off kilter. I think these is something you need to consider in your relationship. So when you partner asks you to wear something sexy for them or doesn't like the drapes you have picked out we don't become lost in our perspective. You will never be able to see through your partners perspective but understand it is okay for them to have a different perspective then you do. So next time your partner asks you to wear that nightie that you hate or to get really sweaty before you make love, you might have a little more insight and understanding. This doesn't mean it will change your perspective but it might help you please your partner. Understanding that they just have a different perspective is okay and that you don't have to always cater to their perspective but every once it a while is okay. Who knows you might like their perspective a little better if you try it.

Readers View:

We had a reader send in a question or maybe a concern was a better way to put it. They wanted to warn people about marring the first person they fell in love with. This reader married right out of high school and isn't enjoying the relationship much at this point, after kids and other things in life.

I agree to a point in that you should shop around a little before settling down. I don't really like the word settle down as it implies your life is over and you are waiting to die now. I think you should look for someone you are going to be able to enjoy life with. You need to find things out before you make a major commitment. You need to know if you have view that won't bring you at odds with each other, you need to be on the same page as far as your family and kids go. I will probably get some flax over this put you even need to know if your libidos are going to match up. These things are all important to a healthy relationship. I think if you are able to enjoy being around the person and you can have a great time with each other it is possible to compromise on some of the other things. These compromises have to be realistic however. If you want to have sex everyday and your partner never wants to have sex once a year is not a good compromise. As to your first love working out, it is possible I know several couples that married right out of high school and have worked out great. The common thread on these couples is that they moved away and had to rely on each other in their younger days. There is no magic formula to having a successful relationship, and anything and everything can work. I would advise however to shop around a little something better might be around the corner or you might already have that special someone. However you can second guess it forever so don't do that if you are currently in a relationship.

Arguing 101

Arguing 101

One of the most important things a couple must do is argue correctly. This is a very hard mission for a lot of couples. As both partners must get their point out and we are so very unlikely to listen to another point of view other then our own.

So the most basic part of an argument is to let each other get your point across. You may not like what the other partner has to say but you owe it to them to listen. So without a doubt part of arguing is listening and finding a way to compromise each others points of view. Once you can master this you are ready to move into the actual argument or as I like to say it debate. Yelling is not necessary and you should respect the others feelings even if you think they are wrong.

Isn't it nice to have someone in your life to watch your back.

Okay this might be a little bit of a silly post, but I want you to realize the importance of having a partner when you need something done with your back. Whether it be sipping up a dress, getting a bug off you, to just a good old scratching. You know that everyone, except a contortionist, has a spot on their back that they cannot reach. Who better to scratch it then the person you love. Or maybe you just want a massage on your back it feel so much better when the person you love gets their hands all over you, then when you do it yourself. Like today I just came in from mowing and realized I had just got stung by a insect. Little to my dismay the insect was still on my back. Like a trooper my partner whisked me to our porch and knocked the insect off my back. Their was no way I could have reached it but my love saved me from getting stung again. So the next time you have a itch you can't scratch be thankful for the love in your life.

Spend a day together just having fun!

Okay we have a holiday coming up here in the United States. Labor day is Monday and I want the two of your (and your children if you have any) to spend the day only having fun. No working no chores just pure fun. Find someplace to go or a cookout and enjoy the day with your partner. Take a walk, ride a bike, get out in the sun all this things will help bring you closer together. The chores and work will be their when you get home and you can work on them tomorrow. But for today just have a much fun as you possibly can.

Here are some suggestions : The Beach, an amusement park, geocaching, bike riding, hiking, have a cookout, go to a cookout, play in a softball tournament, go golfing, fishing, or bowling, take a stroll through the city, Take a long drive, the list goes on and on and on so you cannot tell me you can't find something fun to do for one whole day.

Skip Lunch Together if it nets you more time later.

One thing a couple can always use more of it time. We always want to try to have time to go to lunch with our spouse. It is usually a hurray up eat and get back to work situation. Well here is a novel idea. Why not skip lunch with each other and all together? Think about it this way if you brown bag it to work and eat while you are working and get off an hour earlier, wouldn't that be a better use of your time to spend with your honey. Instead of breaking your time together up into little tiny segments why not have an extra hour at home together during the night? You will also be saving money if you are not going out to eat all the time. Plus with an hour extra with each other you can do some of the things you seem to never have enough time to get accomplished. If your having trouble trying to fit your sex life into the picture now you have an extra hour! If you take the whole hour that is a great use of your extra hour.

Seriously though if you break it down at the most you are spending maybe a half hour to forty-five minutes together during you lunch. Plus you are spending time ordering and maybe talking to someone else that you know. Wouldn't that hour be much better spent alone with your family or partner? I think so.

Sex is not animalistic!

I find it rather interesting to see how many people think that sex is just an animalistic act in humans. Sure it is how we reproduce, and depending upon your views way back when it was a matter of survival to our species. However, I think we have evolved way beyond this thinking of us being in heat. I know that my main purpose in wanting sex is not to procreate at this point. Sex really feels great, it not just a hormonal rush either. We can communicate how much we love our partner by the passion we can show them during sex. I think the debate needs to be opened again. With the advances in birth control and sex being more accepted today we need to reevaluate how we perceive it. Sex in my opinion is part of love, passion, and a relationship. I personally don't feel like you have a full relationship unless your sex live is on track. There are so many advantages to sex, that I don't understand how some people can think that the only reason we have it is because of our urge to reproduce. Sex helps your health, help remove stress, brings people closer, and again is a fun activity the two people can enjoy together. I would love to hear how others view sex in this day and age so it you like drop me a email and let me know what you think.
