Your Sacred Inner Money Story - What's Yours?

What if you could reveal your
Sacred Inner Money Story?

Isn't it time you stopped struggling over money with your sweetie?

You deserve to make empowered decisions when it comes to your financial life.

Whether you are well off or whether you don't feel you have enough money, you are born with particular lessons to seek out +  explore.  One of those overarching lessons is based on money.

Ultimately, it impacts nearly every area of your life.

Maybe you are a Nurturer or a Ruler or a Romantic or even a Maverick!

Do you want to find out?
Drop your name + email in now and get access to your quiz!

Not sure if you want to take a quiz about how you relate to money?

What if I told you that Spirituality + Money Go Together?!

The term spirituality is often not "allowed" to be spoken in relation to a few other terms such as "money" or "sex".  Well, guess what?  When you become aware that your spirituality and your money are actually related to one another you will discover a powerful peace that may blow you away.  In fact, your money is also related to your sexual energy - no surprise there as they are both connected to your sacral chakra, but that is for another post another day.

Just think - no more freaking out over money, no more wondering where in the heck it went or how you are supposed to bring more to you.  When you discover your sacred money archetypes you will be empowered with new confidence, a relaxed sense of peace, and a beautiful sense of freedom.

Wait - what is an archetype?  An archetype is a representation or a symbolic model that is embedded in  your unconscious.  For example, think of the word mother.  Typically, the things that come to mind of what a mother should/would be is loving, nurturing, compassionate, supportive, strong, etc.  Does that fit all mothers?  No.  But, hopefully, you get the idea.

Knowing your sacred money archetype will help you
*ditch old money habits that do not benefit you
*release shame around money
*move past constantly worrying about money

You will be able to beautifully step into
*being in alignment with your money
*unlocking your money blocks
*harmonizing your spirituality with your financial life

I know what it is like to feel sick to your stomach when sitting down to pay bills.  I know what it is like to never feel like you have enough money.  I know what it is like to not be able to buy your kids new clothes.  Yes!  I know!  I have been there.

But, I also know what it is like to have great success and to take two or three amazing vacations a year.  I know what it is like to have the big 5 bedroom home and be able to go out and buy that new guitar for your teenage son who lives for music.

You see - I have had both experiences.  My husband + I have had great successes and we have had dismal financial failure.  But, doing sacred money work is deeply transformational!  How you relate to your money is a reflection of how you relate to pretty much everything else in your life.  Seriously - I am not kidding!

Therefore, discovering what your sacred money archetype is can have a beautiful and profound affect on all areas of your life - as a parent, as a romantic partner, as a friend, as a community member, as a business owner/employee/co-worker, and as a spiritual being moving through this human experience.

With love for you,
Janelle

Repair Your Marriage and Make It Sexy

The Home Repair That Makes A Marriage Sexy
Is the foundation of your marriage full of cracks?
Are you lacking the tools to fix what's broken?
If you are a "Do It Yourself" type of guy, don't the proper repairs result in increased value and appreciation?
Funny how these questions resonate as much with home repair as marriage!
You see, unhappy marriages are epidemic in our nation. Married men are miserable and frustrated with their wives and sex life. Divorce is at an all time high and second marriages have a divorce rate even higher than first timers. But it doesn't have to be this way. There are easy solutions to make your marriage as great as it can be.
Did you know that if you were to spend just a fraction of the attention that you focus on your projects and rechannel that attention to your wife, you would have a much better, and sexually fulfilling, marriage?
Truth is, you can make your wife happy by paying attention to her only 1% of your day and still have lots of time to work on your hobbies.
You see, after we get married, we forget to do the things we did for our wives when we dated. Remember how attentive you were to her? How you called her all the time, were thoughtful by remembering things she liked, and took her out to do fun things together? You even were happy to attack her "Honey Do" list!
But now, you are constantly looking for things to do that distract you from having to spend time with her. You have given up as things are not like they were in the good old days. You truly feel that you get more pleasure being alone and doing your projects.
But you know what? Your wife is starving, absolutely starving for your attention. She wants you to romance her and pay attention to her. But you have stopped! Yet you still expect just a little bit of attention right before bedtime to result in her wanting to jump your naked body!
Nope, you need to work at it, just like you need to invest time in your projects to see a great final product that provides satisfaction.
Start calling your wife endearing names like you used to. Take her out on a date and treat her like you did when you first met. Call her during the day and let her know that you miss her. Hold her hand when you walk down the street. Give her a back massage. And do all these things WITHOUT EXPECTING ANYTHING IN RETURN!
You can't expect years of neglect to correct things overnight. It took years for that roof to fall apart. And it may take weeks to fix it. Think of your marriage as a home repair project. Make a plan, get organized, invest in the proper tools, do a little bit every day, and be proud of what you have done.
You won't believe the love and intimacy you receive from your wife by applying a similar planning and project completion strategy to your marriage.

How to Not Lose Touch With Your Lover

It is so easy to lose touch with your beloved partner.  In these modern times, it has become easier and easier to tune in to the television, your computer, your phone or your iPad.  This means you are tuning out from your sweetheart and your intimate relationship.  It may not seem so at first, but eventually, even being turned on by your lover will wane and become second to today’s media and digital gadgets and other things you fill your life with.  It is vital to stay tuned in to your relationship and to your partner so that you stay turned on by them too!  Only then can you work towards experiencing a long-lasting committed relationship filled with love and trust.

Relationships are actually spiritual paths for each of us.  Your romantic intimate relationship is the most profound of all.  It will offer you a mirror for your deepest emotions, expressions, neurotic patterns (we ALL have them), love, compassion, and humor to be reflected back to you in some fashion.
So, how can you reignite intimacy and sensual pleasure in your relationship?  And, if you still have it, how can you take it to the next level?

A Quick Note About Sensuality vs. Sexuality
More often than not if someone says to you, “That was a sensual delight.”  Your mind will instantly think “sex”.  But, sensual pleasure is really about gratifying the senses – all of them – not just the five physical ones.  You don’t have to involve physical lovemaking to experience your sensuality.

Delighting in the sight of your lover, hearing his/her laugh, smelling a special cologne, holding hands or
sharing a massage, or tasting his/her lips are sensual experiences.  Connecting to your own soul, your lover’s soul, and your spirituality is also very sensual.

Know YOU – Get Connected to Your Own Soul
Getting in touch with yourself, with your soul is the first step in reigniting or upleveling your intimate and sensual pleasure in life and in your relationship.  If you aren’t aware of your spirituality, simply focus on getting in touch with YOU.  Whatever or whoever you are to you.

The easiest and quickest way to reconnect with your soul is by first recognizing those things in your life that simply light you up inside.  They feel like they are the wind in your sails.  These things can be anything: drumming; singing; teaching; hiking; swimming; dancing; laughing; making love; cooking; gardening; cycling; etc.  There is no right or wrong.  Only you have the answer to what makes you feel this way.  The second step is to make sure you have some of these unique-to-you things in your life daily, weekly, monthly.  Bring them in to your life as often as you can.

You will be happier and this happiness will feed into your relationship.  Share these joys with your lover.

Know Your Sweetheart – Connect to His/Her Soul
This will take your relationship to a deeper level.  Once you (re)connect with your soul – yourself, it is vital that you connect with your sweetheart in a similar way.  What makes him/her light up?  How can you support that and bring more of that into your lives?  If both of you do this and then share it together, you will discover a beautiful aspect of your relationship that you may not have been aware of before.

Communicate
Communication is key to every single aspect of your relationship.  Yet, not everyone communicates in the same way.  You may be able to talk about your joys, your sorrows, what happened at work today, what the dog did to irritate you, what your best friend posted on your Facebook wall and what is upsetting you in your relationship.  But, your lover may not be able to easily talk about these things.  We can express our feelings through ways other than verbal communication.  It may come through singing, painting, or drawing.  Of course, one of the biggest ways to communicate is through body language.  Be fully present and truly pay attention to your lover.  Listen – deeply – to what he/she may say.  Observe his/her actions or reactions.  There are clues and often, clear messages even if the two of you communicate very differently.

Share Laughter and Play Together
Don’t take life or yourself too seriously.  Yes, of course, there are very serious aspects, but letting go and goofing around, laughing and being playful is a huge key to happiness and feeling joyful.  This will deepen the closeness between the two of you, which will ultimately help you enhance your sensuality overall.

Laugh at the dinner table.  Laugh while brushing your teeth.  Laugh throughout your day anywhere and everywhere that you can.  And, for God’s sake, laugh in the bedroom!

Share inside jokes with each other.  Maybe they will relate to a funny bedroom experience or something completely different, but they will be your little secret.  People will envy your closeness.  Allow yourselves to be like two young lovebirds giggling and whispering.

Sharing more laughter with each other and deepening your intimate bond will open a doorway for the two of you to experience powerful, playful passion all day long.  You will be able to feel it pretty much everyday.  Draw upon it when something gets you down or something causes you stress.

Continue to Learn and Grow Together
Continually seek new things to learn.  You can take classes together or pick up a new hobby together.  Yet, be bold enough to have new experiences individually, too.  By honoring and respecting your lover’s individuality you are helping the two of you grow.  You need to honor and respect YOU, your lover, and your relationship.  You are teammates, but you don’t need to stay attached at the hip all the time either.

Step outside your comfort zone.  Oh boy, this is a big one!  You can’t grow and sustain a beautiful relationship if you refuse to step outside of your comfort zone.  If you allow fear (fear of failing, fear of rejection, fear of looking like an idiot, fear of???) to keep you within in the boundaries of what you know already, then you prevent yourself from the potentiality of amazing new experiences and from continued growth.  Staying in your comfort zone without learning to step outside of it (even just a tiny baby step) will cause your life to become stagnate.  Hmmm…what will that do your relationship?
Imagine a beautiful flowing stream always moving and changing when the need arises.  Hear the gentle trickle and smell the fresh air. Now imagine a stagnant pool of water with debris piled up in it.  No pleasant sounds of moving water and a nasty stench to boot.  Would you prefer to continue gently flowing into the unknown or stay stagnate and backed-up?

Put It All Together
Get in touch with you.  Truly know your own soul.  Dive deep into whom your partner/lover/spouse is and whom he/she becomes as you continue your path together.  Communicate on numerous levels.  Talk to your lover, but be aware of your other forms of communication – body language, eye contact, and much more.  Be playful and bring more laughter into your lives.  Intentionally and willingly step outside of your comfort zone so that you continue to learn and experience new things.

These are simple ways to not only reignite your passion for your relationship, but for your life.  When passion and deep intimacy is sustained in your romantic relationship, your relationship will be stronger and more beautiful than you may ever have imagined.

Collage of Pictures

You can never have enough pictures up in your house. These pictures should be of you and your partner (and kids if you have them) enjoying yourselves. I like to make collages, which are various pictures put together in either a single picture frame or a series of frames connected together. By putting this collage of fun pictures up you serve constant reminders of how much fun you have had in the past and it gives you that urning to have that fun again. Get everyone in your household involve in picking out their favorite pictures to include. Then spend a rainy day creating a piece of artwork that both inspires and makes your remember great time.

Learn about your partners past if they will let you.

Most of us have events in our life that have shaped who we are and the reactions we have to things. Do you know those important things about your partner? Do you know why the won't touch alcohol or why they shy away from touch sometimes. Do you understand that sometimes they need a little extra to compensate for something that they missed as a child? These are things that don't just get expressed on your first few dates. These are deep dark secrets that take comfort and love to let someone else know. You are given a wonderful gift when they share these things with you and yet sometimes we don't know quite how to handle them. First and for most keep their confidence in you and don't go trying to fix it tomorrow. This baggage has formed over years and isn't about to go away with one little conversation about it. Don't get discouraged either know that when something is hidden away for long periods of time it forms it's own defense and won't be easily broken down. Things like sexual abuse, alcohol problems, emotional abuse are all things that can affect your relationship but are not going to be easily put to rest. Listening is your best friend, don't judge or offer answers right away let the person get it off their chest and mind. Be their friend and don't get defensive of them ask questions like "How did that make you feel?", or "How did you handle that?" be his/her rock at this point. Don't try to out do him/her even if you have had something happen in your opinion that was much worse. Focus on the pain that your partner is feeling at this point of them opening up. If the problem becomes a burden and starts affecting your relationship then maybe you might suggestion counseling. The point is they need your help but you cannot possibly know how they are feeling because you didn't live it. People will react differently to the same instance so their is no quick fix here. The best thing you can do is be supportive and give all your love to them. Picking up the pieces is hard work and trying to put the puzzle back together is even harder.

Use the ice block method for major purchases.

Spending money as a couple is quite hard to avoid. However impulse spending is easy to avoid all you have to do is turn to your freezer. Take your credit card you use to purchase these impulse items and find a tub and fill it with water. Next place the credit card inside the tube and put it in your freezer. Then the next time the two of you want to purchase that silly home decoration instead of rushing out and putting it on your credit card you will have to wait for the thaw. Yes then set the block of ice out containing your credit card and you have to wait until the block completely thaws out to make the purchase. Usually what will happen is that you will realize during the thawing process that you don't really need that item that you had to have just days ago. This method has been around for years and has helped many couples avoid financial hard ship. If one or both of your are impulse shoppers then this method could save you bundles of money.

Looking for a Job? Do it together.

As the economy is trying to turn around many of us find ourselves looking for employment. Constant scanning the want ads and the internet for jobs that fit is a nightmare. This nightmare can be a little easier if you enlist the help of your partner. Having another pair of eyes browsing the endless streams of information is a big help. For starters they will look in a totally different manner than yourself. You might pass over a job that might be perfect of you but someone with a more objective eye might have it stick out to them. Another plus for this is that their future depends on this also. When one partner loses a job or is out of work the whole family suffers. Teamwork isn't a option here you need to lower you defences and listen to ideas your partner has. Remember that no one knows you better than your partner, so trust their judgement also.

Put your feelings in a journal for each other to read.

Here is a great way to let your partner know how you are feeling. Start a feelings journal that you can keep by your bed. What is a feelings journal?, you might ask. Well it is a little book where you write anything you would like your partner to know. It can be things that bother you, or the way they make you feel great, to even things you would like to discover or try. The subject matter can range between bills to sex. The point is the journal is a way to communicate things to each other. The way it works is you both set a time for you to write your feelings in the journal. Make these different time I would suggest a time where the two of you are apart and not only do you write your feeling in your feelings journal you read what you partner has wrote. A feelings journal is a great way to express to each other feelings that you might not be comfortable with just talking during your normal conversations. Now here is the kicker you don't ever confront you partner on what they wrote! You take it in put it in your mind, you can act on it later but you, never ever read their statement and go right out to confront them about it. I think once you get in the habit of writing and reading a feelings journal you will become closer. One last word of advise this is not a bashing journal if all you are going to do is write down things that upset you then you might as well throw the journal out the window now. Sure sometimes you will want to address something negative but most of the time it should be positive and build your relationship. Try it out I am sure you will enjoy it and it only takes a couple of minutes a day. Time well spent.

Take stock in your relationship during trying times.

When the world seems to be weighing down on you and troubles seem to be all around. The one place you can feel safe is in the arms of your love. You can't make the troubles go away, but you can help you feel better. The world will not end because of your troubles and life will continue you just have to take comfort in the fact you have a great relationship and a loving partner. Standing together holding hands is a much better way to face your troubles then by yourself. Take stock in your relationship and let you love guide you.

Take inventory of your relationship.

If your like the normal couple you only talk about your partners faults instead of focusing on the good things that they do in your relationship. We dwell on the facts of what they didn't do instead of celebrating the things that they do to help out the household or your relationship. What you need to do is to take time and make a list of all the good things your partner does in your relationship. Write down all the little things like taking out the garbage, picking up the kids, or even fixing dinner. Then look for major things they do to make your relationship better, like making sure the two of you have a date night, or planning a great weekend getaway for the two of you. I am sure once you start writing down things you will be amazed at how many good things your partner does. Do they make the bed, mow the lawn, let you watch the shows you want, or even just kiss you good night. Then the next time you want to yell at them for leaving the lid off the toothpaste, pull out your list and read one of the good things they do. Maybe you can live without the lid on the toothpaste.

Self Help for couples.

If you like most people you have read several self help books in your life time. No matter if you wanted to increase your memory, get in better shape, or improve areas that you lack a little in. Well why not take a self help book and work on it together. What better support can you have then your partner. Walking through the ins and outs of what ever area you want to improve on together will also bring you closer together. If you want to improve your finances, you can find plenty of authors that will help the two of you. You can make action plans together and take it upon yourselves to push the other partner when they lag behind. Get in shape together, learn a new language, or improve your love life. Whatever you challenge might be go ahead and dive into it together. Learning never hurt anyone so even if the subject might not interest you as much as your partner still but the effort into making it a priority. If you would like to improve the intimacy in your relationship I would suggest picking up SEXY CHALLENGES from the authors of the couples spot to start out with.

Sharing your dreams!

Now that you are a couple one thing you are going to have to share is your dreams. What ever your passion or desire in life you are going to have to share that with the person that is going to be with you the whole time. With all this comes great responsibility, as you must take just as much care with your partners dream as with your own. The last thing you want to do is squash something your partner feels passion for. Even if you feel that the dream is out of the question you need to still be an active figure in helping them. If you partner does have a passion that is very attainable then you need to be the rock to help them reach the level they need to reach that dream. Support, concern, and a helping hand can bring your bond so much closer as they achieve their dream. Do all you can to help out and become the team that all great relationships become. On the other side make sure to show appreciation for your partner when they help you in trying to reach your dreams. Don't take them for granted and always return their help with a heart felt gesture. Achieving your dreams are great but they are even more special with someone who loves you.

Our Stress

Once you become a couple you have to share almost everything. Stress is one of these things that has to be shared. No matter whose has the stress it creeps into both of your lives. When one partner is stressed the other will surely feel the effects of this stress. The other partner might be grouchy or upset, or they might with drawl totally form the relationship for a while. The best method to combat this is take the stress on head first. Dive into the problem that is effecting your partner and see if you can help with a solution or just be an open ear to listen. Sometimes just getting the stress out in the open is enough for your partner to start feeling less stressed. Sometimes their stress demands attraction, don't try to avoid the stress that only makes it worse on both of you. Try to come to a solution and work around it the best you can. Once the stress passes you partner will be so greatfull to you that they might treat you a little special for putting up with their stress problems. If you think you will never have stress in your relationship you are in for a big surprise. No matter how comfortable you are something somewhere, some time will bring the ugly stress monster into your life.
