Getting through tough days in your relationship.

Every relationship has days that you seem like you are unappreciated or that you don't get exactly what you want. This is normal and everyone feels that way from time to time. This is the time that you need to count your blessings. Yes, I mean literally counting your blessings. Sit down and thing about the things that your partner does that are important to you, or that just make you feel good. You quickly start to balance out those negative thoughts you are having with positive ones. Soon the scale will be tipped in the favor of the positive thoughts as your mind starting thinking of the more detailed things. Things like making you dinner, or doing the laundry, or that time he/she made passionate love to you last week. This is how you keep those negative thoughts in check. Once you start to compare them to the wonderful things you partner does you will quickly put your uneasiness to rest.

Use different words.

Okay we all have our basic vocabulary and we use the same words over and over to describe things. You use the same little name for your partner like sweetie, honey, or baby. Time to mix that up a little and increase your vocabulary. Once a week look up a different word to use to describe you partner. Speak to them in this manner or use it in your emails that you send. Words like beloved, handsome, beautiful, are great and different. Try to use words that build them up and make them feel good about themselves as well as the way you feel about them. Get far reaching and try to find words they might have to look up to see what they mean. Not only will it help your vocabulary but it will help show how vast your love for you partner is.

A little please goes a long way.

One thing that we take for granted in a relationship is basic manners. Think about it when is the last time you said please and thank you to your partner. Well if you are lacking in this department you need to start focusing on it. Start ending each request of your partner with please, and make sure to thank them when they complete any task that benefits you. Now all of the sudden you are asking for a favor instead of barking out an order. For example check out the difference in these two statements, "Make sure you take the deposit to the bank" or "Could you take this deposit to the bank, please?" Wow what a difference a couple of words can make it can change the whole feeling of the words. Next time you catch yourself falling in this trap just make the adjustment and start adding please and thank you to your requests.

Talk dirty sometimes

We all know that some people like to talk dirty during the throws of passion. It is perfectly normal and accepted. On occasion however, you can bring it out of the bedroom for it's shock value. I don't condone using it casually but at certain times it can be a really effective tool in getting what you want. For instance if you partner is watching sports most likely into the game and not much will get their attention. Now if you walk up and whisper in their ear "Will you please come F**K me" I am sure you will draw their attention away from whatever they are watching. You don't even have to speak the word to make them effective. Say you out at dinner and you find your partner looking very attractive, carefully scribble on a napkin some naughty words and slip it to them across the table. You might see them searching for the waiter to get the check as quickly as possible. Don't use this method to often, as it will lose it's appeal if you go the well to many times. Have fun with it and I am sure you partner will appreciate it, also.
