Lean on me.

In a relationship we think of it all as push and shove. How we have to get what we want and our partner has to get what they want. There is no thought of balance between the two. Maybe if we work together we can both get what we want and keep a wonderful balance between the two. Say for instance you want to go play golf. Is it okay to go play when your partner trying to finish a project, where they have to deal with the kids and distractions while completing this task? Yet you want to play golf and it wouldn't be fair for you either to miss an enjoyment that you like? This is where we work together to get us both what we need. The simple solution would be to take care of the children and distractions so your partner could get their work done in a timely fashion. Then you would head out to the links, maybe a little later than you wanted but still in time to play. Now on the other side, knowing that your partner was itching to get out and play golf the other partner should work diligently on getting their stuff done. No talking on the phone to a friend during this time or creating distractions for yourself. Then you both get satisfied and your relationship becomes a wonderful place. Now instead of pushing and shoving against each other you are pushing and shoving in the same direction, thus more will get accomplished.

Great Holiday Gift Idea : A Weekend Get-Away

Sometimes the holidays can be a little trying, if your partner gets overwhelmed by the holidays or if you just want to escape during the winter months a Weekend get-away is a great present to give. Go ahead a pick a weekend and book your room and find things to do around the area. It can be in a large city or a quiet country cabin what ever floats your boat. Once you have the date set and have made all the arrangements, find a brochure on the location and wrap it up for you sweetheart. Put some weight in the box or some old clothes to throw you partner off a little bit. You can place a note inside explaining the trip or you can just let them guess as they pull out the brochure. A skiing weekend or maybe a trip to a warm spot like the Caribbean would get your partner jumping up and down on Christmas day. Don't have a lot of money then search the Internet for cheap hotel rooms, their are several sites that offer discounted hotel rooms such as priceline.com I get a email each week of hotel rooms for $39 at different location, their is no catch it is just the hotels trying to drum up business during these tough times, so why not take advantage of it. The best part about this is that your partner will have no idea about it and those are the type of gifts that usually get the best reactions.

Visually Stimulating

I think the secret has long been exposed, that men in general are more visually stimulated then women. Being a man myself I can tell you I enjoy seeing the beauty of a women in all sorts of ways. Now not all men are this way but the vast majority of them seem to be. We want to watch our partners get undressed and we love to see them naked. We love the visions that great sex leaves in our heads. We want to peak at you in the shower and yes we look at your bottom when you bend over. We love the vision that you bring to our eyes. Next time you man wants you to leave the light on don't think he is weird, just know it is because he wants the image of you burned into his mind. With all this new information (or not so new information) don't be afraid to let go a little yourself. Wear something sexy to add images to his mind, give him a quick shot of you naked to get him excited. Let him watch as you do things to him that are pleasurable. One thing that you need to understand you gentleman is going to get visually stimulated somewhere and what better place then at home. So the next time you are worried he is watching to much porn or hoarding the Victoria Secret catalog in the bathroom, maybe you need to visually stimulate him?

Don't always dress down on Sundays

We sometime are so glad when Sunday gets here and we can just simply slip into our comfortable clothes and lay around the house with our sweety. This is okay but every once in a while you need to make sure you do yourself up a little for your partner. Men sometimes you need to slip into something you mate would find you very attractive in. Ladies you need to do the same every once in a while, look good for you partner. Most of us dress nice to go to work but when we are with the person we love the most we look the worst. Does that make any sense. Now I am not saying you have to dress up, but looking nice for your partner shouldn't be hard. Don't skip things either on these lazy days, shaving your face and legs should be the same even on a relaxing day. You might even get lucky, and if you do you don't want to take time to shave or worse yet give your partner a burn or rash from your stubble. Think of Sunday as a date of sorts, you can still look great in sweats and a t-shirt but if you skip the hygiene part of your day your partner might be feeling a little left out.

Get Some Culture.

Relationship are build on similar likes and dislikes at the start. As we mature though these things might change a little and your relationship needs to chage with them. For instance you might have enjoyed punk rock music as a teenager when you and your sweety started dating. Now that you are 30 years old that might not be a common interest between the two of you. As we get older we need to find new things that we can add to our relationship to keep us connected. I want to challenge you to find some other culture to add to your relationship as it blossoms. Go see a syphony or a broadway show. Eat at some different types of resturants, or try something you have never tried together. Take a white water rafting trip or bike down a mountain. When you complete each new adventure assess it and see if it is something you might want to do again. You might find out you really hate it but unless you try you don't know that for sure. Find out what other couples are doing and get some ideas from them, you might even find something you can do together such as sailing or rock climbing. The possiblities are endless and so will be your love if you keep it fresh.

Get Outside together

Hey it's summer time if you didn't realize and time for the both of you to get outside. I know it's hot and humid and you don't want to get sweaty. Suck it up quite being a baby. Find some things you can do together outside. Gardening is a great activity for a couple if you have the room. Bike riding, walks, exploring parks together, fishing, baseball games, are just a few of the things you can enjoy during the summer months. Take up something new like hiking or water skiing as long as you do it together it is important. You can play golf together or make a giant slip and slide in your neighbor hood for all the kids. Be playful that is what summer is all about. Now stop procrastinating and get outside and enjoy your summer and each other.
