Reading can it hurt?

Can reading hurt your relationship? Reading is a wonderful activity and is a great alternative to watching countless hours of television. However reading can detract from your relationship just as television can. If one of the other of you become more into the reading then your relationship. I am amazed at the amount of romance stories I see some people have. Walls and walls of romantic novels, what does that tell you? Someone is not getting enough romance in their life and they are getting in through the use of these books. My suggestion to them would be to start living the romance and stop thinking that it will be like the authors put it in their books. Your partner might not have the perfect body or be able to pick you up and carry you to the bedroom. If your partner is not receptive to the romance then you need to be more creative in your pursuits. Reading a book to get your romance is not the way it was intended. These romance novels are produced to sale a lot of copies which means there are loads of lonely people out their not getting the attraction that they need. Sure an occasional romance novel isn't harmful it could actually maybe getting you a little excited and ready for your own lover. However if you are thinking that things have to happen like they do in the books your are going to be disappointed. Read a book from time to time but don't forget that the person sitting in the other room can be your knight in shinning armor, just maybe with the armor.

Take advantage of time apart.

There are times when you and your partner will have to spend some nights apart. Be it work, children commitments, or just functions they are attending you will have to break apart. This might not be hard for some couples. However, some people have trouble sleeping when their partner is not in bed with them, or they seem lost and don't know what to do for sure. If you are one of these people that your life revolves around your relationship then you need to prepare for nights apart. Save things you need to get done for you times apart, rent movies you have wanted to watch that your partner might not enjoy, catch up with some old friends, anything you can think of to keep your mind off the time. By doing this you will soon find that the time has passed and you are ready for bed. Another thing you might do is stay up later than normal so that you are really tired when you got to bed. This way you don't lay in bed and think about that special person that is not beside you. Remember the time will pass and use it to your advantage. Get things done so that you have time with your partner when they return. Clean the house if you have nothing else to do that will occupy a lot of time.

Confidence is SEXY

Think about the people you notice in everyday life. Unless you are making fun of someone, which isn't right by the way. The people that catch your eye are the confident people that stroll past you. The same can be said for the person you are attracted to. They at some point and time have shown you enough confidence to merit your affections. Now keeping that confidence is important to your relationship. I have several friend where it seems like one partner is needed and the other shows all the confidence. It seems as if the first mentioned partner is just being dragged along. You don't want to be that person. So, I want you to pump up your chest and find your confidence again. You don't have to be with the person you are in love with all the time to be complete. Get back to your hobbies or interests and make time for them. I am sure you partner will find you much more sexy when you have your own interests. Also time apart makes your bond stronger. My parents worked together day and night, as they owned their own business. Yet their relationship was weak and didn't have a whole lot of fun involved in it. So I offer you this, begin strutting around the house like you are the king or queen, get activities that drawn your interest, and see how long it is before you partner is begging for your attention. Believe me this works, needed people are not sexy (word from a great woman) but those that are independent but still love you are very sexy. Don't just sit there, when your partner is out doing something you do the same get out and enjoy life then meet up later and renew your relationship.
