Get out of bed on the RIGHT side!

I am sure you have all heard the expression, "I got up on the wrong side of the bed," but how can you make it work for your relationship. Well, my suggestion is to engage you partner right from the start of the morning by crawling over him/her to get out of bed. If you sleep naked, this is a wonderful good morning move that will surely get your partner to notice you as you are getting up. Make sure to rub your skin across his/hers as you slink across. Who knows you might even get pulled back into bed for a little more ways to wake yourselves up.

The Best Present Under The Tree!

We have all thought about making love under that Christmas Tree at some point and time in our lives. My question to you is "What are you waiting on?" This would be a great Christmas memory to relive over and over with your partner. Think about it you have flashing lights, wonderful views and ornaments to be burned into your memory of this wonderful event. Set up a little pallet under the tree and get busy. Take precautions such as making sure the children are asleep, or that you can't see the tree from your front door or windows, and don't do it on a night you are expecting company. No one whats to explain why a pair of panties are hanging from a branch of your Christmas tree. Pull out some Christmas carols and make it a yearly event for the two of you. This is a great way for you to get out of the bedroom with your passion, just don't squish any breakable presents in you frolicking.

What our viewers relationships need more of.

Results on our survey on what your relationship need more of. The overwhelming thing most viewers felt they needed more of in their relationship was sex coming in at 40%. They also thing that more Romance, Care and Fun would improve their relationships over time. If you believe that your relationship is low on something you need to start by looking at yourself are you doing what you need to bring that item more into your relationship. Don’t expect your partner to give you what you want it your not willing to make compromises. Relationships are give and take and a balance has to be found to really have a successful one.

Wake Up on the Right Side of the Bed

Do you ever have those mornings when nothing seems to go right and everyone seems to get on your nerves. To make matters worse you want to take everything out on your partner. Well, when you get up and feel this way you need to take action. Try this.

When you start wondering why am are so snippy with everyone go back into your bedroom and lay back down on the bed.  Take a couple of deep breaths and release them slowly.  Then get up on the opposite side of the bed.  Make a conscious effort to relax and start your day over.

Stress begets more stress so take some deep breaths and let your "new" morning start out better.

Dreams go up on the Board

As a couple we have so many dreams and hopes that we are striving for. Sometimes we lose sight of these things and sometimes both of us are not on the same page. Why not make a dream board together. You can pick up the materials at your local discount store. A cork board big enough to house all your dreams and some thumb tacks are all you need. Maybe a view magazines to find pictures in or use the ones you already have at home. Now work together starting with the big stuff and figure out what the two of you are striving for. Find your dream house and tack it up. Get some images of jobs you would like have. Put up a map of where you want to live. Get fake money to show what you want to be earning. Post items such as vacations destinations, cars, boats, big screen televisions, or anything you would love to enjoy. Then at least once a week (Daily would be better) together look at your board. Constantly add things to it as they arise in your thoughts, and when you get one of the thing on your board take it down to make room for the next dream. If you are familar with the Law of Attraction this will help you bring to yourself what you want.

Communication 101

Communication 101

We all hear that communication is one of the most important things in a relationship.  I don't think anyone can debate that.  However, what if you are not the best talker or you have to think your feelings out before you say them?   You partner thinks you are just being silent.  Yet, you are trying not to say the wrong thing.  If one partner is used to speaking his/her mind, it is hard for the other to get his/her feelings out.  Most often what happens is the easy speaking partner will jump into the conversation before the less assertive partner finishes his/her thought.  To communicate when this is the problem takes effort on both of the people in the relationship.  The more timid speaker of the two has to get his/her courage up and his/her in order before speaking, and the more assertive speaker has to back off a little and let the other partner speak at his/her own speed.

Still, even at best there will still be some communication problems.  Some things I might suggest to help with communication are as follows.  First, try sitting back to back when you need to have a heated discussion.  Sit with your backs touching, this at least gives both of you some comfort as touch is another important part of a relationship.  Some people will be able to speak more from the heart when not having someone staring at him/her waiting for a reply.  If sitting back to back doesn't work, you might try to write your conversation out or since we live in modern times text each other or instant message each other from another room.  Something about conversing over the Internet gives people freedom from their fears of speaking.  But, also be cautious of texting or emailing as one’s tone cannot be understood via written words.  If neither one of these ideas work, you can as a last resort try a mediator.  If you have a close mutual friend you feel comfortable with, let him/her sit in on your communication or you can even get a counselor that can referee your conversations.  I only suggest counseling if you issues are threatening your relationship.

In closing, remember that words can hurt just as much as physical pain – often times more.  If you never have kind words to express to your partner, he/she will feel less of a person and it could spin your relationship towards trouble.  If you need more help or assistance finding communication help, get online and do some searching.  I really like a gentleman that goes by the title "The Tower of Power".  Joshua  Uebergang is his real name, and you can find his web site athttp://www.towerofpower.com.au/
