Where would you leave a love note for your partner?

Our readers respond to the best places to leave a love note for your partner. It seems that our readers enjoy leaving hand written notes for their lovers to find in places like, in a pocket of their clothes, or on their pillow (both of these received 37% of the votes) Sending the note via the regular mail and texting both brought a response of 12%. Our readers would avoid sending a love note over email or voice mail. So it seems the old fashion hand written note works the best left in a place for them to discover it later.

If your partner left you a love note....

If your partner left you a love note, what kind of note would you like it to be.

1. A Poem - Sweet and from the Heart?

2. A Humorous attempt to get you in bed later?

3. A Personal Message describing the ways they love you?

4. A Hot and Steamy, down and dirty Message?

5. Something else?

Tell us which type of letter you would like to receive. Give us details and if you have gotten any give us the scoop on them.

Thanks,

Rob

Make today a special holiday!

Okay so there is nothing special about today, unless it might happen to be your birthday. However you can make everyday a special day just by declaring it to be. Do this in your relationship just to help build up your love and passion. Make up a silly holiday and then let your partner know what this holiday is. You can send them a text message, an email or you can even just leave them a hand written note. If the two of you have a calendar that you both use then you can even put the holiday on your calendar. Some examples of special holidays might be : GIVE YOUR WIFE A BIG KISS DAY, BACK RUB DAY, of WEAR SEXY PANTIES DAY. You can make them as silly as you want after all it is a day that you are making up. Be funny and creative and make them very specific. These holidays can be made to fit anything you wish from taking a trip to inducing intimacy. Some other examples might be TAKE A SHOWER TOGETHER DAY, WATCH A BALLGAME DAY, or MARATHON SEX DAY. You could even make a pact to let each other invent a holiday each month and the other has to help observe it with you. Now get on with it and enjoy your holiday, what ever it might be.

Come on it's Valentine's Day wear some lingerie

Lingerie has long been a part of Valentine's Day, it's sexy and sends a direct message to your partner. That message is I love you and want you to desire me. Now while lingerie is sexy and hot you have to bring a little attitude with it to really pull the sexy part of it off. Someone shy in lingerie is cute but their is something special about someone that is aggressive in their pursuit of you. Victoria's Secret is obviously a great place to purchase your lingerie they have some amazing and wonderful products. However, they are a bit on the high side of the cost scale not that their items aren't worth it. If you need a little more budget conscience lingerie don't be afraid to search the internet to get a less expensive items. Don't stop with just lingerie but oils and toys can make a delightful Valentine's day. The beauty of lingerie is that it is a present for both partners the one who receives it obviously but it is also a great present for the person you are wearing it for. Think sexy this Valentine's day and show your partner how much they mean to you, by showing them the time of their life.

Play a game while not together

Here is a cute little thing to do if you can't be together. Maybe your at a conference or at work and you want to stay connected with your partner. Play a little game using your cell phones text messaging feature. The easiest way to do this is to text each other trivia questions. Grab some cards from your trivial pursuit game and take turns asking each other questions. This game can go on for hours and don't expect immediate responses. Type in your questions and when your partner gets a chance they will try to answer. If they guess right then it is their turn to type in the next question. If they get it wrong you have to reply with the correct answer and then they type the next question. Again this is a fun way to stay connected when you are apart. It doesn't tie you down or take much of your time. You just use short messages and leave it at that until you can check your phone again.

Any games with cards with questions on them will do. I mentioned trivia pursuit earlier, you could also use What Would you Do, or one of my favorites is "Loaded Questions" They even have similar game as iPhone applications that can give you several questions to ask. Your partner will feel great that you are thinking about them while you are apart. You can click on the title post to take you to the loaded questions web site to pick up one of their games. Make sure to tell them that The Couples Spot sent you. Make sure to check out the Adult Version of Loaded Questions shown above.

Bank Notes

Here is a cute little way to tell you partner you care about them. Simply write it somewhere they will not expect it. Like in their check register or on a sticky note put on their credit card. You need to find something that they use quite often, yet most likely won't use with you around. On their car dashboard, send it to their work email (If that won't get them in trouble), write it on their water bottle, or slip a note in their workout shoes. By doing this they get the message you really care about them even when they are not around. Just make sure someone else can't find the message. Your partner might be pretty embarrassed if they hand something to the bank teller that says "I Love You" on it.

The Chase

Here’s a fun little game you can play with your partner. I like to call it “the chase”, and basically it is just like the game you used to play on the playground during recess. You take turns being the one that is the chaser and the one who is being chased. However, now that you are adults, or are at least pretending to be an adult, the game becomes a little more intriguing. During recess you used to be confined to the limits of the playground, but now that you are older you have the run of everywhere. You can use all your modern devices. The person that is getting chased sets up the game by picking out a place to meet or an activity to accomplish. He/she gives the other person clues to where he/she is. Sound interesting? Well, it is. For example, if you want to meet your partner at a special restaurant, you might call him/her on his/her cell phone and tell him/her clues as to your whereabouts. Make it interesting by leading him/her through your town. Maybe you will have them stop and pick you up flowers or something special for later in the evening. You can use note cards if you like, but then you always are wondering if the other person is on the right track. If you are connected with a cell phone at least if they get lost you can call them up and laugh at them.
Another version of this would be if you’re out of town and don't know the area you are in. You might find a special attraction in the area and just leave your lover a card with an address on it that they can plug into his/her GPS. I can feel my adrenaline rushing just thinking about some of the adventures you can have with this game. Be creative and use all the new technology available to you, such as your cell phone, GPS, walkie talkies, digital cameras, laptop computers, etc. If it can send a message, you can use it. You don't even have to venture out of your house to enjoy this game. Say you want to have an intimate evening with your partner. You could dress up in some beautiful lingerie or sexy boxers and hide somewhere in your house. Set your phone on silent and send your partner clues via text messaging. Eventually leading him/her to the prize, which is you! You could use it for a surprise birthday party too. Get all of your friends involved, and have them send your special someone a barrage of messages. Get lost in a crowd and use your text messaging to have your favorite someone find you. Send your wife/husband video clips of you at some of the places you went on dates at in the past. Challenge your partner by making the clues a little difficult. You could even use life lines if they can't figure some of your clues out.
The object of this game is to build anticipation and to get your partner stirred up about what is about to happen to you two. This diversion takes some time and planning to make it work out. But, if you lay the plan out right, the results can take you and your partner through the roof.

Be sure to charge up all your electronic devices and use your technology to spice up your day.
