Go Team and Hang out with Your Friends

We had a blast last night hanging out with friends/neighbors for a pre-season party for a Broncos game.  Good Times!

When was the last time you and your sweetie hung out with friends?  For this particular get together we took the kiddos too.  So good times were had by all.

See - a date night doesn't have to be without the kids.
Oh, and go Broncos!

Super Bowl - Super Relationship

Today is on of the most important days to a football fan. A conclusion of the football season tops off today with the Super Bowl. While the Colts and Saints are poised to take the top spot it gives you a chance to become closer as a couple. Even if you are not a football fan most people find themselves watching this game.

With all this in mind it is a good time for the two of your to set up a tradition. Maybe it might be inviting all your friends over for a Super Bowl Party or a major relationship bet on the game. Major relationship bets would include things that might involve chores, gifts or even sexual favors. Some ideas for chore bets would be the loser has to clean out the closets, or on the gift side the loser might have to fix a four course dinner for the winner. On the sexual side I will leave that one up to you.

Start the tradition today with this Super Bowl if you don't have on it place already. Then each and every year you will be ready knowing the Super Bowl is approaching. You might even start watching football a little closer if you can find some interest in the game. Which ever way you decide to celebrate that Super Bowl make sure to make it something the two of you can enjoy together. If nothing else the commercials can be entertaining as much as the game. So get your food ready and prepare for the battle and a relationship builder.

Make love through the new year.

Most people make sure they are near their partner at midnight on New Years Eve to give them a great big kiss. Why not take it a step or two farther and make love until the New Year arrives. Yes, you heard me right ring in the new year with sex. Get the two of you a hotel room or even at your own home. Spend the evening dinning and maybe have a few drinks, if you don't have to drive anywhere, and then just enjoy each others company until it gets closer to the midnight hour. At this point you have to be the judge as to how long your sex will last you don't want to finish before midnight. Heck you can even purchase some New Years Eve party hats and confetti to throw and midnight. How many people can say the made love from one year to the next. Sounds fun doesn't it. Many people are avoiding the crowded places this year for New Years Eve so why not have you own little party for two this New Years Eve.

Invite her friends over to watch the game!

You know it is so easy to invite your friends over to watch the football game or any other sporting event. You just call them up and the will be there with beer under their arm. Have you ever thought to invite you wife or girlfriends friends over? This would be a great show of togetherness. This way that special woman in your life doesn’t just have to listen to your chest bumping friends. Next time you are planning to have the guys over ask her if she would like to invite some of her friends over and make it a little party. This way if your partner is not into the game they will have something to do or someone to talk to. One word of caution however don’t start letting your friends ogle over hers make it clear to them this is not an attempt to fix anyone up. If she agrees to this make sure you have items both sets of friends will enjoy snacking on and drinking. Cans of Beer and chips are not usually the ladies first choice. This might also get your partner to take a little more interest in sporting events if they don’t already. By making it more of a social event you might hear them saying “When is the next game?”

Make a fun Halloween Dinner!

We all know that candle light dinners are a staple for the romantic. Since it is Halloween why not make a spooky dinner for you partner (and kids if you have them) Get some old spooky looking table settings and then purchase some fake spider webs to dress up the table. Then pick out some crazy and spooky recipes from this link
Halloween Dinner Ideas
Then create your meal and invite your partner to a halloween dinner if they dare. Top off the night by
Playing silly Halloween music like the song "The Monster Mash" Later you can slip into a costume
that might not be so child oriented, if you know what I mean. (wink wink)

Get your Christmas Shopping on Now.

I was in our local discount store just two days ago and saw that they were putting up the Christmas decorations and supplies. My first reaction was, "Man it's not even Halloween, yet!" Then I thought about it a little longer, and what a great idea. One of my biggest complaints is that we spend all the weekends right before Christmas Shopping we don't get to spend these weekends at home enjoying the season. I would much rather be making cookies with my partner (and kids), listening to Christmas Carols and watching those famous Christmas Cartoons. However instead we are doing the hustle and bustle looking for those last minute things we need to pick up. I challenge all of you do get 90% of your Christmas shopping done by the end of November. I did this a couple of years in a row and man those were great years. It was easy to get the shopping done, my spouse and I didn't fight or dread doing the shopping. Sure their were some things that came out later the kids wanted but all I had to do was zip in and pick up that item only. Then the whole month of December was ours to enjoy.

Start making your list today, and get those hard to buy for people out of the way the only thing you should have to buy during the month of December should be for your kids or partner. Then on the weekends during the holidays spend them going caroling, or attending friends parties or even have your own Christmas party. Lastly just spend some quiet time with you partner sitting in a chair with the fire a blaze and the snow gently falling outside. While you sip your warm cocoa think of all the poor suckers out their running from store to store.

Loving the 4th

The 4th of July is a great time for us Americans to pay tribute to our country. It is also a great day for a couple. So invite all your friends over and have a great cookout. Have everyone bring some fireworks to light off that night, if you don't have plans to go to the local fireworks show. Take turns being the host or hostess, one of you doesn't want to be stuck doing all the work so you need to share it. One of you cook and the other makes sure all the quests get served. Finally when it is time for you fireworks show, make sure to seek each other out and enjoy the fireworks together. After all the two of you invited all these people over to share this day with make sure they know it is a team effort between the two of you. Be leaders in the relationship category also and kiss in front of everyone, show them it is okay to be happy and in love.
