Put a little pressure into your sex life.

Some of the most common complaint about coupes is about sex. There is not enough time, can't get in the mood, the kids are up, I'm tired, and these are just a few of the excuses people use to avoid making love. But why would you want to avoid it? there are so many health benefits to sex that is seems like you are doing your body wrong by not having sex. Plus the more you have it the better it gets and it keeps you young and healthy. No if you have been out of the practice of having sex often you need to pressure yourself into it. Start slow and let yourself build to the feeling of excitement. A little foreplay and teasing your partner will get you in the mood quicker then you waiting for it to happen on it's own. Sex can become a wonderful and exciting thing you share with your partner and all you have to do is start getting yourself in the mood. Take showers together, don't push away from kisses, let your hands rome a little while hugging are a few things you can do to make the juices start flowing. Nothing builds a relationship stronger then a good sexual relationship and not only does it build it but it makes it healthy and amazing. Studies show that couples with a strong sexual relationship live longer, are healthier, and claim to have a better relationship so why wouldn't you pressure yourself a little to have those things.

Don't forget about the person giving support!

Sometimes in trying times we tend to forget about that person that is the rock or gives support. We just assume that because they are there for everyone that thing are not bothering them. In this we tend to not worry about or let them get their feelings out. The worst thing you can do in your relationship is forget about your rock. When tough times hit hard and they are there to pick you up and lift your spirits, make sure to return the favor. When you feel like that partner has went above and beyond in a way that makes you feel better you need to make sure they know you appreciate it. They might just be hiding their feelings to protect or help you out. Make sure not to just assume that they are okay. Chances are they might just need you as much as you need them.

"Sex is the glue that holds a relationship together"

"Sex is the glue that holds a relationship together" is a quote I heard on the podcast The Marital Intimacy Show that you can pick up on itunes. I agree whole heartily with this statement. There are so may aspects to our relationships but certain areas seem to help stabilize our relationship. Things like trust, care, concern are all very important in a relationship. However if you are in a committed relationship sex is the aspect that you don't share with anyone but your partner, these other factors you can experience with others that you have contact with such as friends and family. Heck you can even have trust, care and concern for your boss for peat sake. Sex however is the one thing that you save only for your relationship (I don't mean to offend those with alternative lifestyles, but my understanding is you have a relationship with each and every person involved in your life style) When you thing about it then the more glue you put on something the stronger the hold so it stands to reason that the better your sex life the better your relationship. As a matter of fact of all the people that I consider as having a great relationship the one thing that they have in common is a great sex life. It goes hand in hand. So, put some glue into your relationship today.

Depriving yourself a little make everything a little better when you get it.

Depriving yourself of the wonders of life sometimes make them that much better when you finally do get to indulge in them. Take for instance deserts, they are not that great for you but if you partake of them all the time you get fat. However if you go without them for a period of time they taste so much better, when you finally get them. Sex can be the same for you. Think about it if you had sex every single day it might not be as special. Don't get me wrong I am not telling anyone to go even more then a week without sex. Sometimes, however a couple of days of rest helps you build up and be ready to go longer and stronger then ever. The next time you make love wait about 3 days before enjoying it again and see how anxious you get while you are waiting. Now to make this work right make sure not to masturbate either so you get a total build up that is ready to release. I know from my personal experience that if I put a little buffer in their the night I finally do get to have sex again I can usually perform way better and more often. Plus if you let that sexual tension build up a little the release seems to be way more amazing. Again let me reiterate that I don't believe that you should wait to long because sex is great for your health and mental state.

Shared Thinking

Sometimes in your relationship you have to find common ground. Why not start this out from the beginning by sharing your thinking. Anything that you might want to accomplish will benefit from the two of you putting your heads together to find the best ideas. Even something as simple as finding a place to eat. If both of your offer your ideas maybe you can find a place that caters to both. Say she wants seafood and he wants steak, I am sure you can find a place to eat that offers both. Same thing for all the things you do. Painting your house, remodeling, finding the right house. If you share your thinking you can usually satisfy both partners in a relationship.

Don't let grumpy people bring you down.

Have you ever been out with your partner, having a great time. When someone grumpy brings you down. It never fails, either someone is jealous or they just hate seeing people happy. How do you handle those situations? You first response might be to get mad at them in return. That only gets you hot under the collar. The thing to do in my opinion is to smile and say something polite to them and walk away. You don't want to ruin your time together and you definitely don't want to let this grumpy person get the best of you. By saying something nice to them you will throw them off their game. Try it out the next time you run into this grumpy person. Smile and say "I hope you are having a wonderful day" or "Do you need a hug" most likely they will walk away and not say anything. Maybe just maybe by doing this and not ruining your day you might just improve their day. Being nice in contagious so try it out today.

Snack Well

Part of being a couple is taking care of each other. We look out for our partner because we want them to be around as long as possible. Well one thing you can do to help them out is for both of you to Snack Well, together. It is so much easier when the both of you watch how you snack.

Start this out by going to the store together. Choose snacks that are healthy and skip the aisle that would tempt you. Choose alternative to some of your favorite items such as ice cream, candy, and chips. If you look closely you can find replacements that are similar with less fat and more nutrition in them. The simple fact of the matter is if you don't have it in your house you won't eat it. Late night cravings will be put to rest if you don't have the tub of ice cream in the freeze. If you must have that frozen delight choose sherbet or frozen yogurt instead. Be supportive of each other and remind each other how much healthier you will be by eating things like carrots, bananas, and apples.

Thing about it this way. Eating better will increase you livelihood. You will feel better and have more energy to do things. Eating well also helps with stress and improving your body image. People who eat well have better sex and more frequently enjoy intimacy. So eating healthy will improve your energy, self esteem, over all health, mental attitude, and your sex life. Why are we all not eating better?

Clicking on the title of this post will take you to a website dedicated to showing you healthy snack options.
