Is it my turn?

One thing we find interesting in our relationship is that we both like to be the aggressor in our sex life. This presents a little problem as we both get a rush being the one that initiates sex. As fun as it might sound you both can be the aggressor at the same time. That's like both of you trying to lead during dancing. The simple solution to this problem is to take turns being the aggressor. Don't pick a specific date but just make every other time a switch to the other persons time to be the aggressor. Sex is powerful and the rush you get from taking your partner in your arms to initiate the actions. Hard kisses that tell the other person what you have in mind, or leading your partner by the hand to the bedroom and shutting the door are a couple of ways that get this point across. Being the less aggressive partner isn't all bad but being the passive one all the time really sucks. Make sure both partners get to prowl for sex within your relationship. Their is something about getting that look in your eye and the raw emotions of being aggressive when it come to getting the intimacy you want.

Basketball Madness

If you don't know by now the most important part of the college basketball season is upon us. March Madness will now take it's toll on many a young lady that finds themselves a basketball widow right now. If this is your case, you can do something about it. Hunker down beside your man and find out what all the excitement is about. Learn about how the tournament operates. The beauty of the fact that 65 teams are all trying to keep winning to move towards a national championship. Each game is a win or go home game and no one is safe from upsets. This all might seem a little much for you if you have never experienced it. However, if you want to be with your man this month (well at least on the weekends) you might want to do a little research. Have him show you how to fill out a bracket, let him show you his tricks to picking the winners. Heck the two of you could even put a little sexual wager on the games to spice things up a bit. You owe it to him to try and understand a little bit about this tradition, think about the times you drag him out shopping and he tries to help you pick things out. He is putting forth the effort you might not like his picks but he is trying. Here is an important thing for you to remember the first weekend of the tournament is non stop basketball from about noon to midnight but then it gets less and less as the get closer to the finals. So as march progresses you will have more and more time to spend together.

Set goals for SEX!

We get so busy in our day to day life that sometimes our sex life gets left behind. We want to be intimate with your partner but things keep getting in the way. Things like sickness, kids, work, family, the list goes on and on. Let me ask you this how many of you out there have had a fun evening planned that would end up with the two of you making love for hours, only to have something happen to disrupt your plans. Well you are not alone and when this happens it seems to throw you off and it's hard to get that special date back. I want to suggest setting a number of times a month to have sex. Be it 4 or 16 times a month that is between the two of you, the only rule is you have to stick to it. Want to gamble a bit on it then throw numbers in a hat and at the beginning of the month pull one out and bam that is how many times you are required to make love this month. Once you agree no backing out set a reward for the two of you for hitting your goal, like a nice dinner out or a little trip. Now it is both of your responsibility to make sure you hit the number. I don't care if you have to make love 3 times the last day you make sure you do it. This helps you form a more important commitment to each other and working for the goal together can be fun and exciting. Keep a countdown on the wall, no one else will know what it is for but the two of you. Once you hit your goal then celebrate break out some champagne and do it right. Then set a goal for the next month.

Who is the dominant sexual partner?

Most relationships has a dominant sexual partner. I am not taking a physical force in the bedroom, but one that needs or wants sex more. I want to hear how your viewers handle the difference between the two levels of sexual desire. Do you compromise or does one partner just lose out? I want to hear about your dealings with this common problem in a relationships. I am trying to get a handle on how other are dealing with this and what might be the best solution. I understand both sides or this. Both partners deserve to get what they want and no one can force someone to enjoy intimacy more. Do you have means that help out with this problem, maybe a book, or an activity or even alcohol that helps to get you on the same plane in your sexual desire. You can drop me a line at thecouplesspot@gmail.com I will look forward to hearing from you.

Sexual Wonder Drug - W-A-T-E-R-

I just currently found out how important water is to our sexual health. From helping to create lubrication to the fluids we release during orgasm. Not to mention the importance of it for the activity of sex itself and to keep us hydrated during the motions. Obviously water is essential to our everyday life but water can also help your sexual stamina and can even help in getting you in the mood. The article I read suggested you treat your sexual experiences like an exercise. Drinking plenty of water before and after the intimacy. This is claimed to help you enjoy your sex better as well as help you rejuvenate faster to give you a chance at that second and third try during the evening. Encourage your parter to partake of the water consumption also and see how it effects your sex life. Our bodies are built to enjoy sexual activities and when you add water into the mix you can enjoy sex a whole lot more.

"A relationship without passion is like a sword without a handle" - Zob

The quote in the title of this post bears a lot of weight into how you should be thinking about your relationship. Way to often in life we become comfortable and forget to work at one of the most treasured thing in our life, our relationships. We put them to the side for later or move them to the back burner hoping to get around to them sooner or later. Well this is the wrong way to keep a relationship healthy and active. You should do just the opposite, and let me tell you why. Your relationship dictates all your actions, you might think this is crazy but when you really think about it you know that it is true. After watching the movie The Secret, I soon realized that the power starts with you and those that are immediately involved in your life. This passion, if you will is like a snow ball and gains as it rolls down hill, and without passion you are at the bottom of the hill. How much harder is it to push that enlarging snowball up the hill? Chew on that for a minute. Try it out the next time you get a chance and really put some wonderful effort into your relationship, from every angle. Be loving, be caring, be sexual and be attentive and see what happens. I think you will find that your relationship will grow like a flower that gets all it needs to blossom in the warm summer sun. I am curious to hear from our audience as to how they feel on the subject so drop me a line at thecouplesspot@gmail.com Look forward to your comments.

Don't judge sexual past.

One of the biggest mistakes I think couples make is letting each other know to much about their past relations. Besides when you decide to be fluid bonded with a person or want to have children the sexual past of the other person shouldn't matter. What is their to gain by knowing who your partner had sexual relations with before you. It only adds for conflicts during your relationship if you encounter these people. Unless you are childhood sweethearts that never dated anyone else chances are pretty good that your partner has had sex with someone else before they were involved with you. That doesn't make them love you any less or make them desire that person over you, it just means it was a learning process. Do not press your partner for past details of his/her sexual past and don't ever compare your current sexual experiences to those you have had in the past. Everyone is different and part of the fun of being in a relationship is learning what each other enjoys. You have to understand that your partner didn't start living the minute the two of your met. Past relationships have no bearing on your current one unless you let it. Keep you sexual past to yourself and don't expect your partner to share it with you, if you let them these past sexual experiences will haunt you and make your current relationship a struggle.

Is Foreplay Foreign to you?

Foreplay is always in everyone’s sexual vocabulary but do you really enjoy it or is it just part of the process. In my opinion foreplay should be a large part of any sexual experience. When you think about it the actual act of sex doesn’t last very long, but when you add the foreplay in you can make sex last a very long time. Most women can benefit from extended foreplay as in most cases it takes women a little longer to get heated up. You should explore many different types of foreplay and don’t get into a routine of doing the same thing over and over. This is easy to do when we find something that works. Set up signals or simply say when you like something, unless your partner is a mind reader they might not automatically know what feels good to you Remember this also, foreplay can encompass the whole body not just the genitals. Any were from the feet to the scalp can be an erogenous zone. The one performing the foreplay can use different parts of their body to heighten the mood, fingers, tongues, and lips are the normal ones but feet and forearms work to stimulate places also. A good thigh position can enhance your foreplay in many ways. If you want to know more pick up some reading material that will help you explore erogenous areas on the body. Another great idea is to set up an amount of time before any penetration can happen, I would suggest a half hour to start with and see what happens. Remember foreplay is for you and for you partner so use it to the max.
